INCEST
Incest is a sexual relationship between two closely related people, parents, cousins, nephews, nieces,  uncles, aunts, in-law etc. It is a form of sexual abuse and molestation e.g. sex between a brother and sister,a father and daughter, mother and son,step family members,half-related family members, cousins, etc.

  In more that 70 per cent cases investigated,                         

incest is usually consensual I.e.(a  common agreement between the two parties to be involved together sexually). 
Incest is seen and generally believed to be ungodly in the society as it involves people 2 Ho ordinarily shouldn't be having canal or sexual knowledge of each other.

 Incest is a complicated and psychological issue in homes, society, religious centers, it often involves one person of higher position/power and the latter of lesser position/power. 

CAUSE OF INCEST?
  According to research the major causes of incest include:
-traumatic childhood experiences from each or both of the incestous family members that leads into a psychological problem in adulthood
-the type and level of relationship or familiarity between the family members
-spending excessive time together
-how often they get exposed to the privacy of each other nakedness
-the need for a close friend,confidant and helper
-lack of proper attention and care 
It is acknowledged by both family members involved to be wrong but they usually lack the morale to end it.
IMPLICATIONS OF INCEST:
-Spiritual implications such as curse from GOD. Incest is a sin, it is morally unacceptable 
Socially unacceptable
-family disunity and division
-psychological scars and emotional imbalance
-legally, offenders are condemned to jail.
-it causes aggressive behaviours,unatural obsession
-suicide
